Givaudan brings natural fragrance materials together under one roof in Grasse
Behind the word ‘natural’ in perfumery lie fields, harvests, extraction and precise handling. In Grasse, Givaudan is building a site intended to connect those stages in one place.

In early 2028, Givaudan plans to open Campus 52 in Grasse, a centre for innovation and the production of natural raw materials for perfumery. Covering 2.7 hectares, the site will become the main physical hub for House of Naturals, the company’s programme devoted to natural ingredients.
The purpose is to bring agronomy, suppliers, production, research and perfumers closer together. Givaudan describes House of Naturals as a system built on four pillars: agronomy, innovation, operations and the creative work of perfumers. The new campus is meant to shorten the distance between those links.
For Grasse, it marks a major player’s renewed connection with a city whose perfume history has always been tied to floral materials and their processing. Campus 52 will include production and innovation facilities; industry press reports that it will also work with flowers supplied by local growers.
House of Naturals reaches beyond Provence. The programme brings together partnerships for sourcing natural materials in different countries, the work of agronomists and the search for new ways to process materials. The Grasse campus is therefore conceived as a place where a global supply network meets laboratory work and production.
For the buyer, this does not yet mean a separate line of fragrances or an immediate change to familiar formulas. But for perfumers and brands, such a centre may broaden access to natural materials and the technologies used to extract them. Its real impact will become visible only when the results of this work enter specific compositions.
