Interparfums brings Maison Goutal back to the US through one department store
The first fragrances from the revived Maison Goutal will launch exclusively at Bloomingdale’s in the United States. The narrow opening channel makes this more than a return of a name: it tests the house’s new position in the market.

When a perfume house returns after a pause, the new bottle is not the only thing that matters. Where it is sold is equally telling: the setting immediately defines its future audience and the distance between the brand and a mass-market display.
Interparfums is relaunching Maison Goutal in the US through an exclusive debut at Bloomingdale’s. According to Now Smell This, a 100 ml bottle of eau de parfum will be priced at $240.
Choosing a single partner at the outset appears to be a way of restoring a clear status to the brand. Rather than appearing widely all at once, Maison Goutal enters a department store where buying fragrance often involves consultation, discovering a house, and choosing among several luxury names.
For collectors, this means a more controlled return: initial sales will be concentrated in one channel rather than dispersed across broad distribution. For the Goutal name itself, it is a chance to introduce itself again to American audiences—not as an archival curiosity, but as an active fragrance house in the premium segment.
For now, what has been announced is an exclusive launch rather than a detailed plan for wider expansion. The key signal is therefore not the size of the assortment, but the architecture of the debut: Interparfums is beginning Maison Goutal’s return with a limited, carefully selected entry point into the US.
