Description

Cooper Square brings cognac and juniper into a warm, resinous structure of woods, spice and amber.

Cooper Square by Bond No 9 begins with juniper berries, cognac and spices: aromatic, warm and sharply defined. Myrrh, lavender, patchouli and olibanum deepen the centre, before cashmere wood, vetiver, musk and French labdanum settle into a dry, balsamic base with ambered weight.

On skin

Sensory profile

Warm amber light falls across dry wood and dark resin. Cognac gives the opening a rounded glow, cut by the aromatic clarity of juniper berries and an even current of spice. Myrrh and olibanum thicken the atmosphere as lavender brings a cleaner aromatic line and patchouli adds depth. Cashmere wood and musk soften the edges; vetiver and French labdanum leave the final impression grounded, warm and quietly imposing.

Practice

Where to apply

A strong option for autumn, winter and cooler spring weather, particularly for evenings, meetings or a dressed-up occasion. Wearers often report long persistence and a trail beyond arm’s length, so restrained spraying is sensible indoors.
