Description

Turkish rose rises through pepper, incense, amber and a dark oud foundation.

Dawn by Frederic Malle sets pink pepper and Turkish rose against olibanum and amber, then descends into agarwood, labdanum, vetiver, oakmoss and cedar. Ambroxan completes an amber-woody structure that feels ceremonial and deep, with spice and rose illuminating its darker materials.

On skin

Sensory profile

This is dawn imagined as a slow passage from darkness into gold. Pink pepper catches the first light and lifts Turkish rose above the resinous glow of olibanum and amber. Below, agarwood and labdanum form a dense shadow, edged by earthy vetiver and oakmoss. Cedar introduces a dry architectural line, while ambroxan sustains the amber atmosphere without diminishing the rose.

Practice

Where to apply
