Description

Valentino V Ete places violet, lychee and layered roses over musk, sandalwood and dry woods.

Violet, Bulgarian rose, bamboo leaf and lychee create a fresh floral-fruity opening. Turkish and Bulgarian roses continue through the heart with peony, jasmine and geranium, before musk, sandalwood, patchouli, guaiac wood, cedar and amber take over.

On skin

Sensory profile

Violet petals and bamboo leaves sit in soft, scattered light, with lychee adding a translucent fruity accent. Roses unfold in several shades through peony, jasmine and geranium, giving the centre both freshness and fullness. The flowers rest on a broad woody base of sandalwood, patchouli, guaiac wood and cedar, softened by musk and warmed by amber.

Practice

Where to apply

V Ete is most naturally placed in spring and summer daytime, for a meeting, lunch or polished outing. Reported performance varies, though the central tendency is moderate wear with projection around arm's length; individual skin and application can shift that impression.
