Maison Crivelli to Open Its First Paris Boutique, Rethinking the Usual Way to Buy Fragrance
On 19 September, Maison Crivelli will open its first standalone boutique on Rue Saint-Honoré in Paris. Rather than a shop window, the house proposes a space for an unhurried encounter with fragrance.

Choosing a fragrance often begins at a shelf and ends at the till. Maison Crivelli is trying to reverse that familiar sequence: its new Paris boutique is conceived as a place where a composition has time and context.
The brand’s first standalone space will open at 314 Rue Saint-Honoré. For the house founded by Thibaud Crivelli in 2018, this is a significant step: Maison Crivelli is now available through 822 points of sale in 67 countries, yet it will have its own Paris address for the first time.
A boutique as a “perfume agora”
The house describes the new space as a “perfume agora” — an alternative to the familiar format of the fragrance shop. The focus is not on quickly choosing a recognisable bottle, but on entering the brand’s creative world and spending more attentive time with a scent.
This approach is particularly fitting for Maison Crivelli, whose compositions are built around unexpected sensory encounters: a familiar note is placed in an unfamiliar setting, and a fragrance invites not only smelling but also association with an image, memory or mood. The boutique offers a way to convey that logic beyond the compressed pace of a multi-brand shelf.
Why an independent house needs its own address
A dedicated boutique does not replace the brand’s broad distribution, but gives it room to speak to visitors on its own terms. For customers, this means a more complete introduction to the house: not one fragrance among dozens nearby, but its whole system of images and contrasts.
Maison Crivelli’s Paris location will open on 19 September. In a city rich in fragrance destinations, the point of interest is not only the new shop, but its wager on a pause: sometimes a scent truly needs a little more time than a single test on a blotter.
