Maison Mirwad will unveil five new fragrances in Dubai — its first appearance at the fair
Qatari fragrance house Maison Mirwad is preparing its first presentation at Beautyworld Dubai: the Signature Collection was created with Philippe Paparella-Paris, Senior Perfumer at Symrise.

A trade-fair debut carries a particular kind of anticipation: there are only days left before the fragrances can be encountered, yet the announcement already reveals the story the house wants to tell. For Maison Mirwad, it will not be a single bottle but an entire quintet — the Signature Collection.
Maison Mirwad plans to present the collection at Beautyworld Dubai, held from 6 to 8 October at Dubai World Trade Centre. It will be the Qatari brand’s first appearance at the fair; the house’s founder, Mashael Al Kuwari, developed the new releases with Philippe Paparella-Paris of Symrise.
The collaboration is notable for its scope. According to information released for the launch, the team first defined the brand’s DNA, then explored ten to fifteen directions before selecting five compositions. This process does not suggest a radical departure from Maison Mirwad’s earlier work: the collection is described as an extension of its established signature, shaped through new textures and contrasts.
The line will include Eau Verte, Tendre Étreinte, Fleur de Miel, Oud Velours and Filtre d’Amour. The names alone suggest a broad range, from green freshness to honey, oud and an intimate musky mood. It would be premature, however, to treat them as fixed genres: detailed note pyramids and impressions on skin can only be discussed after the fragrances are experienced.
The announcement’s most meaningful detail is not the high-profile guest perfumer, but the principle of the collaboration. Al Kuwari and Paparella-Paris did not simply sign off on different parts of the line: both are said to have contributed to each of the five fragrances. For a house that has developed from Qatar until now, this is a way of expanding its own language without turning an international debut into an anonymous export gesture.
The fair will be the first opportunity to see how this idea translates into both bottle and scent. For now, this is a presentation rather than a confirmed global retail launch; the available materials do not give release dates for individual markets. For collectors and professionals, it is a reason to watch not only the individual notes, but whether the new quintet retains Maison Mirwad’s recognisability within a broader international conversation.
