Description

Ambre Sultan is amber made herbal and dry, with resins, myrrh and aromatic spice.

Ambre Sultan brings resins and amber together with bay leaf, myrrh and benzoin, then broadens the texture through sandalwood, vanilla, coriander and oregano. Patchouli, angelica and myrtle reinforce its aromatic, earthy side. Warmth is central, but the herbal and balsamic facets keep the composition dry-edged, complex and far from simple sweetness.

On skin

Sensory profile

Amber-coloured resin rests in low light beside bay leaves, oregano and myrtle, their green edges cutting through the warmth. Myrrh and benzoin deepen the surface into balsamic shadow, while coriander adds a fine aromatic spark. Sandalwood and vanilla smooth the texture without turning it confectionary; patchouli and angelica keep the base grounded. The scene feels dense, dry and quietly imposing.

Practice

Where to apply

Most at home on autumn and winter evenings, though it can also work by day in cool air. Reports generally favour long wear and projection around arm’s length, sometimes farther, so restrained application may be preferable in close quarters.
