The new release is inspired by Original Beauty Bar, Dove’s signature cleansing bar, introduced in the United States in 1957. The brand describes the scent as soft, clean and skin-close, and links the launch to years of requests from its community to release it as a standalone fragrance.

Dove Original Fragrance was developed with fragrance expert Ann Gottlieb. The bottle’s form references the Original Beauty Bar: its glass body is finished with a gold-toned bird-shaped cap.
