Kayali Yum Vanilla Cupcake | 108 — new for October 2026

The scent of celebratory sponge cake often stays with us longer than the cake itself: vanilla frosting, candles, the anticipation of guests. Kayali chose this fleeting scene as the starting point for Yum Vanilla Cupcake | 108, its new fragrance announced on 22 October.

The release will join House of Yum, Kayali’s gourmand collection, as its third fragrance after Yum Pistachio Gelato | 33 and Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81. All three names draw on dessert imagery, but Vanilla Cupcake turns to its most instantly recognisable version: a celebratory vanilla cupcake.

Founder and CEO Mona Kattan describes the gourmand direction as an important part of Kayali’s DNA. In her words, the Yum line brings dessert ingredients into perfumery with a playful yet more polished sensibility; a vanilla cupcake therefore became a natural next step for the collection.

For readers, it offers a clear point of comparison within a single fragrance world. Pistachio Gelato develops a pistachio-dessert motif, Boujee Marshmallow explores airy sweetness, while Vanilla Cupcake is presented as a vanilla gourmand inspired by the smell of a birthday cake. Until launch, it makes most sense to treat this as the brand’s concept rather than a promise of how it will wear on skin.

The global launch is scheduled for 30 October. Kayali is continuing to build Yum not simply as a series of sweet fragrances, but as a recognisable language of small pleasures and personal memories—now with a birthday image that is easy to grasp before the first spray.
