Dry tobacco leaf disappears into dense smoke, warm benzoin and the softness of tonka bean.
How it feels
In low light, dry wood smoulders beneath a slow-moving veil of smoke. Tobacco leaf brings a brittle, textured dryness, sharpened by the dark, charred grain of cade oil. Warm benzoin glows through the haze, and tonka bean softens the scene with measured sweetness. The effect is less a roaring fire than its lingering aftermath: shadowed wood, resinous warmth and smoke suspended in the air.
When to wear
Especially suited to cold evenings, autumn and winter gatherings, or any setting that welcomes a pronounced smoky presence. It may last well into the day or night and can project from arm’s length to beyond, so a considered application is sensible.
