Linda Pilkington founded Ormonde Jayne, whose Old Bond Street boutique opened in October 2001. The name joins her middle name with Ormonde Terrace, where the first workshop stood.
Ormonde Woman, Champaca, and Tolu arrived in 2002, using unusual materials such as black hemlock and basmati rice to build distinctive texture.
