bdk Parfums Fragrances
bdk Parfums combines Parisian storytelling with the work of different perfumers. Begin with three directions: vanilla, white flowers, oak, and leather in Vanille Leather; rose, plum, cinnamon, chocolate, and tobacco in Tabac Rose; or pear, berries, rose, jasmine, musk, and cedar in Bouquet de Hongrie.

bdk Parfums Fragrances
David Benedek's independent house has worked in Paris since 2016. Stories and materials matter throughout the collection, but each fragrance has its own author and structure. It is therefore more useful to compare bdk Parfums through specific notes and transitions than through the house's overall image alone.
Dominique Ropion's Vanille Leather opens with pink pepper and a violet accord. Tuberose, jasmine, and orange blossom create a saturated floral heart, while vanilla, patchouli, oak, leather, orris, and benzoin make the base warm and smoky. Sample it if you want vanilla without simple confectionery sweetness.
Julien Rasquinet's Tabac Rose brings pepper, plum, and lemon together with Turkish rose, cinnamon, and chocolate. Tobacco, patchouli, and labdanum darken the base. Serge Majoullier's Bouquet de Hongrie moves more lightly: pear, blackcurrant, and strawberry lead to rose and jasmine, then musk, cedar, and amber.
Choose Vanille Leather for the contrast of white flowers, vanilla, and leather; Tabac Rose for a dense spicy tobacco rose; or Bouquet de Hongrie for a transparent fruity-floral profile. Apply each composition separately and revisit it after the base develops: this is where the distinction between smoky, dark, and airy interpretations becomes clearest.
