Filippo Sorcinelli Fragrances
Filippo Sorcinelli builds extraits as artistic narratives. Begin with three distinct directions: citrus, artemisia, styrax, moss, and galbanum in but not today; musk, cashmere wood, peach, and anise in Rosa Nigra; or Calone, oakmoss, a mud accord, and isobutyl quinoline in Vento forte.

Filippo Sorcinelli Fragrances
Filippo Sorcinelli perfumery grew from LAVS, an atelier founded in 2001 for liturgical vestments and objects. In 2014, the first UNUM composition transferred the memory of its materials and scents into an extrait. Music, sacred art, cinema, and natural phenomena remain guideposts across the collections.
but not today begins with bergamot, lemon, artemisia, and lavender. Styrax, cascarilla, rosemary, and calamus reinforce its herbal-resinous character, while sandalwood, oakmoss, galbanum, amber, and musk shape a dark finish. Sample it if a long transition from citrus sharpness to a mossy base sounds compelling.
Rosa Nigra creates a rose image without a rose note. Musk, cashmere wood, amber, and vanilla meet peach, sandalwood, and freesia, followed by artemisia and anise. Vento forte is drier and more abstract: Suedral, Calone, and oakmoss encounter a mud accord and isobutyl quinoline.
Choose by materials as well as by the title's narrative. but not today develops a dramatic contrast of herbs, resins, and moss; Rosa Nigra constructs the illusion of a flower from woody, fruity, and aromatic facets; Vento forte renders wind through damp minerality, leather, and green bitterness. Apply each extrait separately and allow it to pass through its complete compositional “coda.”
