L'Artisan Parfumeur Fragrances
Passage d'Enfer Extrême and Bois des Sables show two woody-balsamic sides of L'Artisan Parfumeur. Olivia Giacobetti combines incense, lily, sandalwood, and vanilla; Christophe Raynaud creates an even darker, more resinous accord from labdanum, patchouli, and vanilla.

Both fragrances work with the warmth of resins and woods but retain different levels of transparency. Passage d'Enfer Extrême glows through smoke with white flowers; Bois des Sables gathers a denser, sun-dried texture.
In Passage d'Enfer Extrême, incense remains cool and mineral. Lily and white flowers brighten the heart, sandalwood softens the woody line, and vanilla adds balsamic roundness without turning the composition into dessert.
Bois des Sables is built on labdanum, patchouli, and vanilla. The resin brings amber warmth, patchouli adds earthy depth, and vanilla creates a smooth, enveloping finish. Compared with Passage d'Enfer Extrême, it is darker, drier, and denser.
Choose Passage d'Enfer Extrême for transparent incense, lily, and soft sandalwood; choose Bois des Sables for resinous labdanum, patchouli, and vanilla. On skin, one keeps light inside the smoke while the other gradually gathers warm woody depth.
