How it feels

A narrow shaft of light falls across cypress branches, pale resin and dark, dry timber. Vetiver roots draw fine lines through the composition; incense hangs as a translucent grey veil, and orris adds a muted powdery surface. Deeper down, benzoin and sandalwood introduce warmth while patchouli anchors the image in earth. The result is sombre, graphic and deliberately still.
