How it feels
Pepper and pimento scatter dry heat across apricot and fresh almond, while coriander and Brazilian rosewood add aromatic grain. Violet appears at the centre as a cool, powdery field, accompanied by Japanese osmanthus, rose and jasmine. The background turns warmer through vanilla and amber, but patchouli and cedar keep its contours firm. The image is unusual yet coherent: spicy fruit at the entrance, velvety violet within and an ambered wooden frame around it.
When to wear
Ultraviolet feels particularly suited to autumn and winter, from a cool-weather date to dinner or an evening in soft knitwear. It can be worn by day as a carefully judged powdery accent. In heat, lighter application helps keep the vanilla and amber from becoming overly dense.
