The Remy Latour Cigar line offers two woody spicy directions. The original Cigar combines plum, pineapple, and pear with tobacco, patchouli, sandalwood, and cedar. Black Wood replaces the tobacco focus with spices, coconut, lavender, myrrh, tonka bean, and guaiac wood.

Cigar begins with fruit: plum, pineapple, and pear are joined by bergamot and lemon. Bay leaf, marigold, geranium, and jasmine provide a transition to the base. Tobacco, patchouli, sandalwood, Virginia cedar, and musk define the drydown, so the fragrance is best assessed after it has fully developed.
Cigar Black Wood opens with bergamot and grapefruit alongside nutmeg and saffron. Coconut, lavender, myrrh, and violet create an unusual heart, while tonka bean, guaiac wood, patchouli, and cedar form a warm woody foundation.
The choice depends on the role you want tobacco to play. In Cigar it is listed directly in the base and supported by dry woods. Black Wood takes another route: spices and myrrh lead towards tonka and guaiac wood, while coconut softens the middle.
