How it feels

The scene opens with a flash of grapefruit and mandarin against dark, mossed wood. Juniper and pepper sharpen the air; patchouli adds earth and depth. Flowers emerge in controlled layers—carnation, iris and rose first, then syringa, lily-of-the-valley, jasmine and ylang-ylang. Labdanum gives the shadows a resinous warmth, while musk and amber polish the composition without softening its disciplined outline.
