How it feels

Leather and Tolu balsam form a dark ground streaked with saffron, black pepper, bay leaf and thyme. A narrow flash of lemon cuts through the earthier tones before honey, red pepper, carnation and iris add heat and texture. Below, caramel meets oud, tobacco, benzoin, pine, patchouli and labdanum in a dense resinous shadow. The scene expresses Chimaera as layered, restless and unapologetically substantial.
