John Galliano
John Galliano is the British fashion brand that grew from its founder's namesake line. London origins, a Parisian chapter, and rare theatricality make each silhouette and image feel like a complete statement.
Brand story and character
John Galliano graduated from Central Saint Martins in 1984 and quickly established a design language of historical reference, runway drama, expressive silhouettes, and romantic tension. His namesake line began in London before moving into a Parisian couture context. In 1995, Galliano became the first British designer to lead a French haute couture house when he joined Givenchy. Romantic form, deliberate decoration, and historical allusion make the brand authorial rather than neutral. Fragrance continues this theatrical image in a more intimate form, joining British origin, Parisian fashion culture, rhythm, character, and visual drama.
