Giorgio Armani is an Italian house founded in Milan in 1975. Its defining idea is modern elegance without formal rigidity: clothing should feel composed while remaining part of real life. Since 1988, L’Oréal has developed the house's fragrance, skincare, and makeup lines.

Giorgio Armani was founded in Milan in 1975 and quickly established a distinct idea of modern elegance. Instead of rejecting the suit, Armani softened its construction, allowing freer movement and bringing formal dress closer to everyday life. The Milanese language of proportion, texture, muted colour, and attention to the body became the foundation for menswear, womenswear, accessories, interiors, and beauty.
During the 1980s the house gained international reach without abandoning its preference for clean lines, tactility, and quiet confidence. Since 1988, L’Oréal's luxury division has developed Armani fragrance, skincare, and makeup, translating the designer's aesthetic into a global beauty system. In perfume this does not mean turning fabric into a literal note.
It means preserving balance: freshness without sharpness, woods without excessive weight, and sensuality without insistence. Armani Beauty can therefore work across different fragrance genres while retaining clarity, light, and composure.
