Mancera
Mancera is the French perfume house created by Pierre Montale in 2008. Eastern and Western inspiration, vivid materials, and distinctive bottle design shape its aesthetic. Amélie has directed the fragrance art since 2017.
Brand story and character
Pierre Montale created Mancera in 2008 as a collaborative world shared with his daughter. He brought experience with Eastern materials and composition, while Amélie contributed an artistic and photographic perspective before becoming artistic director in 2017.
French perfume form meets Eastern associations through travel, memory, landscape, woods, petals, and spices. Density and colour remain balanced by clear composition and design.
Art Deco order, colour, and geometry inform the bottles. Metallic details, gold accents, rhythm, brilliance, and proportion continue the perfume as a visual object.
Woody, floral, spicy, fruity, and amber themes often use contrast: freshness or fruit may move towards a denser woody, sweet, or musky base. Intensity comes from making each central motif clearly audible.
Mancera belongs to a contemporary French niche scene in which formula and visual world carry equal weight. Family collaboration, decorative geometry, and an East-West dialogue create its signature.
