Xerjoff
Xerjoff is an Italian perfume house founded in Turin in 2007 by Sergio Momo and Dominique Salvo. From the 17/17 Stone Label collection onward, scent, material and cultural narrative have been treated as parts of one collectible object.
Brand story and character
Xerjoff was founded in Turin in 2007 by Sergio Momo and Dominique Salvo. Its first 17/17 Stone Label collection, also introduced in 2007, established an approach in which perfume and precious object design are inseparable. Shooting Stars extended this idea through meteorite fragments, semiprecious stones and gold-plated caps. The signature cap, designed by Dominique Salvo after the ancient Egyptian Red Crown, draws on Turin’s Egyptian Museum.
In 2016, the house introduced its modern signature bottle, whose transparent glass, relief, curves and weighted base create a multisensory object. Xerjoff revived Casamorati in 2009, connecting contemporary perfume with a 19th-century Bolognese tradition and Art Nouveau imagery. Official materials cite Tuscan iris oil, Bornean oud, roses from Kannauj, Murano glass, Tuscan engraving and jewellery work from Valenza Po as examples of its culture of origin and craft, not as a universal formula for every scent.
Collections such as Blends add music, sport and gastronomy to the house’s historical and material narratives. Across these themes, Xerjoff treats fragrance, form and the experience of the object as one complete artistic language.
