Narciso Rodriguez

Narciso Rodriguez was born in Newark, New Jersey, to Cuban immigrant parents and studied at Parsons before working at Anne Klein under Donna Karan and later at Calvin Klein. Femininity, inner strength, and the architecture of the body became central to his design.

The namesake label launched in 1997 with a first womenswear collection in Milan. Rodriguez opened his New York atelier in 2001, reinforcing an American fashion identity with international reach and graphic precision.

The perfume story began with a rare Egyptian musk oil that served as the designer's personal signature. Christine Nagel and Francis Kurkdjian translated the idea into for her, followed by NARCISO, for him, musc collection, and all of me.

Musk acts not merely as a note but as a means of expressing closeness, purity, and skin temperature. Fashion and fragrance share the same restrained and authorial tone.
