How it feels

In clear light, raspberry and peach appear jewel-toned rather than innocent, surrounded by the quick flashes of pepper, coriander, ginger and bergamot. Rose occupies the centre, joined by geranium, carnation, iris, jasmine and orchid as cinnamon warms their edges. Beneath this vivid surface, oud, patchouli, olibanum and guaiac wood form a dark framework, softened by vanilla, tonka bean and labdanum. The result is ornate, spicy and firmly grounded.
