How it feels

A narrow shaft of light passes through fragrant smoke, revealing warm resin and dark wood beneath. Indonesian nutmeg, pink pepper and bergamot create the first dry sparkle. Spanish labdanum and patchouli gather at the centre, tempered by the lighter presence of freesia and lily-of-the-valley. Incense, styrax and musk then draw the image into shadow: smoky, balsamic and composed.
