How it feels

In clear daylight, the spices seem almost architectural: cardamom and black pepper define the edges, saffron adds warmth and mint opens a cool passage through the composition. Ceylon cinnamon, Indonesian nutmeg and coriander gather around Indian jasmine at the centre. The light grows softer over Madagascar vanilla, Australian sandalwood and benzoin, with amber, Virginian cedar and musk giving the final impression a warm, powdery and woody depth.
