How it feels

Wet bark rises beside a narrow coppice path, its dark grain echoed by stone at waterline level. A few broken reflections catch bitter-orange colour and the muted blush of a rose among restrained undergrowth, while the low viewpoint carries the eye along the rain-darkened track. That tension between moisture and dryness reflects the fragrance: tart citrus and green facets give way to rose, hay and cedar.
