How it feels

Picture bergamot and bitter orange beside crushed basil and lavender, all rendered in cool, open daylight. Chayote contributes a watery green shape rather than sweetness. Geranium, palmarosa and clary sage form a leafy middle layer, softened by orange blossom and iris. Pine needles, cedar, pistachio and tamarisk gather below, giving the scene a dry woodland grain.
