How it feels

A brilliant tropical colour flashes against a nearly black field of wood and leather. Passionfruit provides the sharp, juicy light; saffron adds a dry golden grain and Turkish rose gives the opening floral breadth. Oud and patchouli pull the image into shadow, while benzoin, amber, vanilla and labdanum create a glowing resinous layer beneath the leather and Akigalawood.

When to wear

Most at home in winter and autumn, especially for evenings, intimate events and substantial fabrics. The scent is frequently reported to last very long and project well beyond conversational distance, sometimes filling a room.
