How it feels

Bulgarian rose rests in warm amber light between a dark piece of oud and pale, polished sandalwood. The petals provide colour and softness; the woods create opposing textures, one shadowed and forceful, the other smooth and quiet. With only three materials, every contrast becomes visible.
