How it feels
Leather lies beneath a narrow shaft of bergamot and pink-grapefruit light, dusted with pepper. Beyond it, oud, smoke, dark woods and black tea merge into layered shadow, relieved by restrained touches of rose and jasmine. Labdanum and patchouli thicken the middle ground; incense, tobacco, vanilla, sandalwood, amber, musk and cedar form the glowing base. The image is complex but ordered, moving from sharp illumination into deep, resinous warmth.
