Brand story and character

Emilio Pucci, Marquis of Barsento, founded his eponymous brand in 1947. His design career began on Swiss ski slopes, where movement and practical clothing formed the original challenge.

The first Pucci boutique opened on Capri in 1950. Florence, however, remained the designer’s home city and cultural foundation. Pucci joined the American idea of comfortable sportswear with the beauty and luxury of Italian fashion.

His vivid patterns earned him the title Prince of Prints. In the modern house vocabulary, signature motifs continue to be reworked through patchwork and changes of scale, retaining recognition without literally repeating old designs.

Miss Pucci Intense was released in 2011. Lemon and sweet orange lead to orange blossom, jasmine, and magnolia, while amber, benzoin, vanilla, and patchouli create a warm foundation.

Vivara Variazioni Verdi 072 offers a greener structure. Bergamot, mint, and neroli meet rose, while tonka bean and Virginia cedar form the base. Green notes run through the composition as its main coordinate.

Miss Pucci Intense and Vivara Variazioni Verdi 072 show two contrasting Emilio Pucci directions. The first moves from lemon and sweet orange into white flowers, amber, benzoin, and vanilla; the second joins bergamot, mint, neroli, and rose with green notes, tonka, and cedar.
