Brand story and character

Franck Boclet launched his own menswear label in 2011. Before this independent project, his professional path included Kenzo, Arrow, Courrèges, Ungaro, and Smalto. This fashion experience provides context for the label but does not establish authorship of the perfume formulas created later.

The Fragrance Collection began in 2012, one year after the label's launch. It comprises 24 fragrances in 100 ml bottles. These figures describe the stated structure of the series and provide a precise starting point for Franck Boclet's perfume history.

The principle of the Fragrance Collection is to highlight one main olfactory note in each composition. This organises the series; it does not mean that a formula contains only one material. The central note can be surrounded by a more complex development.

Franck Boclet joined forces with fragrance-industry specialist Ludovic Perrin to create perfumes and clothing. Their partnership concerns the development of both areas of the label. The pages do not, however, name the perfumer of every composition, so participation in the project cannot become a blanket attribution for all formulas.

The fragrances are created and manufactured within the company in Dreux, France. This establishes the place of fragrance development and production without implying that every process or raw material has the same geographical origin.

The dates 2011 and 2012 distinguish the menswear launch from the beginning of the Fragrance Collection. They show the project's rapid expansion into perfume while preserving the difference between the founder's fashion biography and the fragrance collection's history.

The number 24 and the 100 ml format refer specifically to the described Fragrance Collection. They are not a complete count of every scent ever released under the Franck Boclet name and do not establish that the assortment has remained unchanged.
