Galimard

Galimard's history has two layers. The house traces its origins to Jean de Galimard in 1747 and the perfume culture of Grasse under Louis XV. The modern company took shape in the mid-twentieth century through the Roux family, who rebuilt production and opened perfume-making to visitors. This double chronology shows heritage maintained as a living practice rather than an archival quotation.

Grasse remains both a place and a professional language for the family business, linking tradition, quality, materials, and contemporary creativity. Perfumes, home fragrance, soap, and bath lines sit alongside tours, factory museums, and workshops. Galimard is therefore one of the Grasse houses in which historical continuity forms part of everyday work and of an open, modern way to share French perfume craft.
