James Bond 007

The James Bond screen story began with Dr. No in 1962. A men's James Bond 007 fragrance marked the franchise's 50th anniversary in 2012; for 60 years of the films, Floris and EON Productions created the separate No. 007 Eau de Parfum.

Brand story and character

Dr. No, the first film in the screen franchise, appeared in 1962. This date underpins two fragrance milestones: the 50th anniversary in 2012 and the 60th ten years later.

A men's James Bond 007 fragrance was launched for the 50th anniversary of 007. Its account connects it with the occasion but does not name its licensee, perfumer, or formula. It should therefore remain distinct from the later Floris work.

For the film franchise's 60th anniversary, Floris introduced No. 007 Eau de Parfum. The Floris perfumery team worked with EON Productions. This identifies a team collaboration rather than one individual perfumer.

No. 007 is described as rich and spicy with amber in the base. Citrus and juniper open against a subtle smoky accord and carnation. Rose, lavender, rosemary, and geranium form the heart.

Sandalwood, oakmoss, and musk join the stated amber in the foundation. This sequence belongs only to Floris No. 007 and does not describe the 50th-anniversary scent.

The No. 007 packaging takes inspiration from the dot graphics of Dr. No. The design links the bottle with the screen story's beginning, while the formula follows its own citrus-spicy, aromatic, and woody-amber structure.
