Baby Phat launched in 1999 with women-first streetwear, denim, velour, and confident runway presentation. It became a defining lifestyle name of the early 2000s, allowing fragrance to extend an existing fashion code.
Baby Phat Goddess launched in 2004, followed by Golden Goddess, Seductive Goddess, Fabulosity, Luv Me, and Dare Me. Simmons left Phat Fashions in 2010, introduced KLS in 2015, reacquired and relaunched Baby Phat in 2019, and added Baby Phat Beauty in 2020.
