Brand story and character

Les Copains grew from Italian knitwear culture during the late 1950s and is associated with Bologna and Mario Bandiera. Cashmere, soft materials, and a disciplined approach to texture established the ready-to-wear identity.

During the 1980s, the company moved from an artisanal model towards a more industrial structure and appeared on the Italian fashion calendar. Creative periods involving Antonio Marras and Antonio Berardi broadened its profile without displacing knitwear as the core.

The fragrance catalogue comprises 10 releases, dating from 1988 to 2007. Les Copains now continues through OVS in clothing, accessories, and lingerie, preserving the name as an active fashion identity.
