Brand story and character

Lostmarc’h connects its perfume identity with a specific place. The brand was inspired by the Breton beach of the same name and its Celtic setting, while founder Antoine Vuillermet linked the project with childhood memories of the coast.

The catalogue is compact but coherent: reference records list 13 fragrances released between 2007 and 2013. Ael-Mat, Aod, Atao, Din-Dan, Iroaz, L'Eau du Marin, L’Eau de l’Hermine, and L’Eau du Dimanche use Breton-inflected names to establish a local voice.

Sea air, coastal vegetation, sun, soil, and a landscape left deliberately rough rather than polished form the shared imaginative environment. The fragrances approach that shoreline from different directions without losing a common origin.

Lostmarc’h is therefore best understood as a restrained French perfume project with a recognisable Breton source, a small public history, and a clear coastal aesthetic.
