Vilhelm Parfumerie
Vilhelm Parfumerie combines New York roots, a Swedish name and French perfume craft. Each fragrance is conceived as a short story, while Pierre Dinand’s unified bottle and saffron label bring the different narratives into one visual world.
Brand story and character
Vilhelm Parfumerie describes itself as an artistic studio joining past and present, imagination and reality, glamour and restraint, New York and Paris. Cultural memory is translated rather than copied, giving every fragrance its own setting and emotional temperature. A shared visual identity comes from heavy spun-glass bottles designed by Pierre Dinand and a saffron label inspired by a Bakelite object found at a Paris flea market. The fragrances are created in Paris with Jérôme Épinette, Bertrand Duchaufour and Marc-Antoine Corticchiato, while the house also names Technicoflor and Robertet among its manufacturing partners. Concentrate preparation, maceration and bottle assembly take place in France, grounding the storytelling in professional craft and materials. New York energy, European memory and contemporary design meet in an identity that moves between cities. The first standalone Paris boutique opened on rue Pierre Charron in the 8th arrondissement in June 2021, combining Art Deco and Bauhaus references with modern materials. Vilhelm does not reduce its collection to one family or repeated accord: narrative, contrast, unified design and French manufacture create its recognisable signature.
