How it feels

Rather than a delicate bouquet, imagine three varieties of rose arranged among powdered spices. Sichuan pepper supplies a bright, prickling contour and turmeric a warm ochre cast. May, Bulgarian and Turkish roses overlap in the centre, creating depth through repetition; below them, patchouli resembles dark soil and tonka smooths the final transition.
