Azzaro
Azzaro is a French brand associated with Loris Azzaro and a confident, expressive approach to fashion. Fragrance later became its most visible direction and the principal way many people encounter the house.
Brand story and character
Loris Azzaro founded the brand in 1962 within the Paris fashion environment while retaining a freer Mediterranean temperament.
Ease, energy, and sensuality moved from the fashion identity into perfume, giving the house clear lines and a readily recognisable emotional character.
The fragrance range developed during the 1970s, and Azzaro Pour Homme, released in 1978, became a major reference in the house's masculine history by joining classical structure with movement.
Chrome later introduced fresher air and daily ease, while Wanted added contemporary energy and a sharper rhythm.
Azzaro's strength lies in balancing heritage with current presentation. Fashion remains the source, but fragrance gave the name broader international life through assured silhouettes and composed visibility.
