Blumarine

Blumarine's story began in Carpi in 1977. Anna Molinari and her husband, Gianpaolo Tarabini Castellani, created the label as an Italian family venture. Its name joins the color blue with the sea: in the brand's history, the open horizon becomes an image of travel, possibility, and emotional freedom.

The Blufin group was formed in 1988, bringing the development of Blumarine together with other lines. That date belongs to the corporate structure, not to the founding of the label itself. The distinction matters: Blumarine's creative history began eleven years earlier and grew from the work of its two founders in Carpi.

Femininity in the label's visual language is not reduced to a single character. Romance meets sensuality, lightness meets confidence, and decoration carries a note of irony. Blumarine's current description emphasizes freedom, spontaneity, and many forms of femininity; owner Exelite adds seduction and inclusion to those codes.

At the end of 2019, Blufin was acquired by the structure now known as Exelite. The new owner frames the label's development around preserving its heritage while giving it a contemporary, more sustainable interpretation. The corporate change neither replaces Molinari and Tarabini Castellani as founders nor moves the founding date to the acquisition.

Blumarine fragrance uses the same emotional vocabulary: color, touch, gentle exaggeration, and the romantic gesture. In June 2020, the Les Eaux Exubérantes collection introduced three eaux de toilette, each with its own story and vivid color code. Kiss Me On The Lips appeared in the trio alongside Cheers On The Terrace and Mon Bouquet Blanc.

Kiss Me On The Lips was created by Jordi Fernandez. Bergamot and orange open with blackcurrant and pink pepper, giving juicy freshness an immediate tart and spicy outline. Orris, jasmine, and peony meet caramel in the heart, so the floral theme feels softly gourmand rather than sheer.

The base is built on patchouli, Bourbon vanilla, and powdery musk. Patchouli holds the sweetness in place and adds earthy depth; vanilla extends the caramel thread, while musk guides it toward a calmer, powdery finish. The citrus opening therefore gradually gives way to flowers and warm sweetness.

The 2020 publication described Kiss Me On The Lips as a 100 ml eau de toilette and connected the release with Angelini Beauty. No current primary product page was found, so that format and operator apply specifically to the 2020 launch and are not presented as a current offer. Present catalogue status needs a separate check before commercial publication.
