Carolina Herrera
Carolina Herrera is the house established by designer Carolina Herrera in New York in 1981. Its effortless refinement is composed without feeling heavy. Fragrance has developed with Puig since the late 1980s through the original line, 212, CH Carolina Herrera, and Good Girl.
Brand story and character
Carolina Herrera New York was founded in 1981 around the founder's effortless refinement: order, colour, femininity, and an evening gesture without rigid ceremony. New York adds movement and independence, allowing elegance to accompany real city life. Puig obtained the beauty licence in 1987, and the designer's first fragrance appeared in 1988. Carolina Herrera for Men followed in 1991, while Puig's acquisition of the fashion division in 1995 placed fashion and fragrance on a shared organisational path.
The launch of 212 in 1997 introduced a more energetic urban rhythm. CH Carolina Herrera followed in 2001 as a lifestyle line for women, men, and children, adding everyday clothing and accessories to the house. Good Girl later became what Puig describes as the brand's most iconic product. These lines cannot be reduced to one note family or bottle, but they share a method: memorable form and a clear emotional position. From the first fragrance of 1988 through 212, CH, and Good Girl, the house has expanded its language while retaining modern confidence, natural ease, and New York elegance.
