Cartier

Cartier traces its history to 1847 and has developed a language based on line, volume, proportion, light, and material across jewellery, watchmaking, leather goods, and fragrance. Perfume has no physical weight or gemstone cut, yet it can work with the same ideas of form, individuality, and presence. The house calls its scents “invisible adornments”: a small detail capable of changing how a person is perceived and of remaining in memory after they leave.

In-house perfumer Mathilde Laurent develops this language through precision and freedom, drawing on Cartier's interest in nature, animal and botanical forms, and clean construction. La Panthère translates one of the house's best-known symbols into scent, while Pasha, Déclaration, and Baiser Volé offer distinct expressions of character. Les Épures de Parfum explores pared-back impressions of living nature, applying to fragrance the same search for proportion found in jewellery design.

The wider range includes different families and formats, including refillable bottles in selected lines. Cartier's heritage is treated as a living source rather than a fixed archive: since 1847, the same culture of craft and form has continued to shape jewellery, watches, accessories, and perfume.
