Elie Saab

The story of Elie Saab began in 1982. Its founder was 18, and the house started with a small atelier in Beirut. From there grew a brand whose own historical account connects Middle Eastern heritage with European sophistication.

The fragrance portfolio continues this dialogue with fashion through individual compositions. Elixir is presented as an Eau de Parfum whose facets evoke Elie Saab's couture creations. This is not a claim that the entire collection has the same character, but a stated connection between one fragrance and the house's haute couture.

At the heart of Elixir is an iris inspired by the Cedretti variety, which grows in Lebanon's cedar region. An exclusive Love Accord was also created for the composition. Its connection with heritage is therefore expressed not only through a general image of couture, but through a specific botanical and geographical reference.

Elixir Love develops a different floral construction. Its description includes red roses and rose essence, neroli, gourmand nuances of jasmine, and a cherry accord.

Girl of Now Lovely is built around an orange blossom and almond accord combined with frangipani. Compared with the iris centre of Elixir and the rose and cherry direction of Elixir Love, this composition offers an independent entry point into the fragrance catalogue.

These three descriptions do not represent the whole of Elie Saab fragrances, but they reveal different olfactory directions within the catalogue. The fashion house's history is supported by its founding date and Beirut origins, while the perfumers, fragrance release dates, and licensing structure lie outside the material reviewed.
