Nikos

Sculpture, released in 1994, is a layered floral aromatic composition. Bergamot, tarragon, peach, lemon, green notes, and freesia make up the opening. Citrus freshness is paired with the herbal facet of tarragon and the soft fruit character of peach.

Ylang-ylang, orris root, orchid, jasmine, cyclamen, and lily of the valley form the heart. This broad floral accord ranges from transparent spring-like notes to warmer, denser facets. Benzoin and vanilla appear in the base with tonka bean, musk, sandalwood, and cedar, moving the scent from its fresh opening towards a soft woody amber finish.

Sculpture Delicate Fleur followed in 2010 with a more concise formula. Rose, pear, and mandarin form the top accord; hyacinth and lily of the valley make up the heart; musk, sandalwood, and tonka bean create the base. The fruity floral idea is more direct here and the woody drydown is less complex.

The two fragrances develop the same line on different scales. Sculpture offers a complex structure of herbs, many flowers, and a warm base. Delicate Fleur retains a floral centre but is easier to read because it contains fewer transitions. A shared name does not mean an identical scent: Delicate Fleur condenses the progression, while the original presents a broader range of materials.
