Nina Ricci
Nina Ricci is a Parisian fashion and fragrance house founded by Robert Ricci in 1932 as a gift to his mother. Couture heritage, a feminine visual language, and L'Air du Temps made it one of the recognisable perfume maisons of the twentieth century.
Brand story and character
Robert Ricci founded the Paris house in 1932 for his mother, Nina Ricci. Her creative work and his business direction gave the family project an early language of soft elegance and precise feminine form.
Doves, apples, flowers, and allegorical imagery support a view of women that combines strength and delicacy. Fashion, fragrance, and visual storytelling reinforce one another.
Coeur de Joie became the first house fragrance in 1946, followed by L'Air du Temps in 1948. Later Nina, Vénus, and L'Extase continued a romantic and composed perfume identity.
Nina Ricci now belongs to Puig, while retaining its Parisian origin, couture foundation, long perfume history, and distinctly French emotional style.
