Kenzo
Kenzo is the French fashion house founded by Kenzo Takada in 1970. Parisian fashion and Japanese authorship meet through colour, graphics, movement, and a free approach across clothing, accessories, childrenswear, and perfume.
Brand story and character
Kenzo Takada moved to Paris during the 1960s and founded his house in 1970. Vivid prints, free silhouettes, and the meeting of Eastern sensitivity with Parisian fashion established a lighter and more animated cultural mix.
The house joined LVMH in 1993 after expanding during the 1980s into menswear, children, home, and later perfume. It became a broad lifestyle brand without losing its rhythm and visual memory.
Kenzo fragrance began in 1988 and developed nature imagery, sculptural bottles, and gentle but memorable symbols. Flower by Kenzo and Kenzo Pour Homme became especially recognisable expressions.
Current collections and Nigo's creative direction keep the foundational codes in view while speaking in a contemporary fashion and perfume language.
